We have almost 2000 active players on over 220 teams playing weekly (year round) in more than 70 Host Locations all around Maine.
2010 was a great year to be a Maine APA member. We paid out over $100,000 in cash prizes to local divisons all around Maine. This year at our 8 ball and 9 ball "Vegas Qualifiers" we paid out over $20,000 in cash. PLUS; We're sending over 75 Mainer's to play in this years National Championships in Las Vegas.
The end of the year is fast approaching, which means it is time to renew your APA Memberships!
Everyone who pays their 2012 memberhip on-line before February 15, 2012 will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card. An e-mail is sent to the office each time a membership is paid on-line. The names will be posted after February 15th and the drawing will be held on February 20th.
The member services on the newly redesigned poolplayers.com website allows people to renew their memberships quickly and easily over the internet.
To renew your membership ahead of time click over to APA Member Services website to login, then click the "Renew for 2012" link and fill out the form. Note: This is the same website and login information to view your stats online.
The 15th annual Captain's Christmas Tournament was held at Club 302 on December 17 - 18, 2011. We had another large turnout this year with 75 teams participating from all over the state. Congratulations to Nick Conner & Jason Conner for winning a second year in a row.
