 Hi! We are John & Pauline Ostro. Our local APA office is in Lisbon Falls. (Southern/Central Maine) Pauline and I are avid poolplayers ourselves: we played in the APA for 10 year's prior to buying the franchise. We love everything about the APA and very much wanted to make a career out of it. We are now the owners and Franchisees of the Maine APA Pool League. Our APA Franchised territory is the entire state of Maine. We started the "Maine franchise" of the APA Pool League in September of 1997 with 1-four team 8 ball division in Portland. From that one division; over the last 14 year's we have expanded throughout the state to 25 divisions with almost 2000 players and 240 teams playing weekly. Our goal is to unite the poolplayers and future players of Maine. We currently have weekly team play in the 8 ball format and 9 ball format in the counties of; York, Cumberland, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc, Kennebec, Knox, Waldo, Franklin, Oxford, Penobscot, Hancock, Lincoln. Over the next couple of year's we will have the rest of the counties up and running with local divisions; Washington, Somerset, Piscataquis and Aroostook. We would like to thank all of the players, the Captains and Host Locations who have participated with us over these last 14 years...you have made it possible for us to carry out our goal of uniting Maine pooplayers.
